SageListings is an on-line commercial real estate resource that provides owners, investors, tenants and brokers the opportunity to network and make smarter decisions regarding property. My business partner and I co-founded the company and we are under development currently. We are building a product with several services totally unique to the marketplace and expect to launch in January 2009. Services include a Sage Advice column, commercial property listings for sale and lease, broker profiles and rankings, and property valuation services. We recently began raising capital in January 07 for our first round of $1 million. Second round financing will be needed for a total of $6 million around the time we launch.
My business partner and I are commercial real estate professionals. We have specific experience with professional asset management (multifamily), repositions and renovations, acquisitions, land development and commercial real estate brokerage. Our journey to build SageListings started while working in the industry. We became frustrated with how difficult and expensive it was to locate valuable information pertaining to specific real estate markets. We discovered how fragmented the market really was and felt inspired to find the solution to the problem.
Previous to SageListings, I was a Regional Vice President and Director for a privately held company that owned several multifamily communities in 5 different states. I managed a growing portfolio worth approximately $400 million.
