We translate top-quality, award-winning programs for broadcast on public and commercial television networks internationally.
Living Earth Television is a unique new venture working to enhance positive international relations through the acquisition and distribution of professional video productions. LETV promotes no political or economic agenda, but seeks to introduce people to the lives of those in other cultures and countries worldwide.
LETV locates and licenses outstanding, award-winning programs already created by local producers in countries around the world for broadcast in their own communities. Our current work is to translate these and place them for broadcast on existing public and commercial television networks. We offer very high-quality programming to underwriters and broadcasters, and our costs are low compared with the cost of creating original programming. Licensing fees paid to producers support their continued work, but are a small fraction of original production costs. All translation and production work is done by culturally-sensitive professionals in media, social science and law, to guarantee the integrity of the completed programs and ongoing positive relationships with program suppliers and broadcasters.
LETV is seeking funding for the preparation of series of television documentaries from China and Russia, for broadcast on English-language media around the world. When programs are completed, corporate underwriters, foundations and other organizations will have the opportunity to underwrite the broadcast of these programs and gain public exposure by way of 15-second or 30-second corporate ID spots.
