Summary:
We introduce ourselves as a - Multi Service Agri Infrastructure company. We are aggregating a number of services aimed and focused on India's large agri and rural sector. Which today are largely unserviced and are marred by extreme inefficiencies in crop handling/logistics and storage.
We offer, Advanced crop handling, warehousing, secured commodity pledge finance, direct procurement and trading, wholesale of inputs like fertilizers, crop protection products alongwith Personal care and dailes which we term as FMAG and have also launched our own seed program right from the breeder seed phase.
The IT plantform we have developed is biometric/touch screen enabled, with a number of services that the rural community will recieve from one platform any where in the world.
We have been working on the project and systems since 2008 and set up the company in January 2009, Our first model centre - "gramco - param" has commenced it activities and will be on full stream by May 2010.
Funded internally and now with a Public Sector Bank stepping in for long term loan, with a total capex of a bit over $300,000. This is an extremely modular and scalable project. We have alredy identified 3 more locations on which we will commence work in 4th quarter of 2010
