My most recent venture has been a web-based service (www.mAnagr.com) focused on the needs of managers of grassroots football (soccer) teams.  It enables them to administer squads and facilitates communication with players and officials via email or SMS, allowing matches to be arranged, planned and reported more easily.  Season’s statistics are then compiled, and end of season memorabilia offered by the company. 

The service is offered free of charge; revenue is generated via advertising and an on-line shop selling items team managers typically require (e.g. football kit, teamwear, own-branded footballs, training equipment and end-of-season trophies). 

Since the service’s launch in September 2006, formal support has been obtained from six County FAs and from the PFA and has attracted user registrations from each of the continents.

We are a team of highly experienced movie professionals, collective 50 years experience and involvement in many major productions, including Oscar-winning movies. We intend to adress what we see as the weak spot in movie production, the creative development of the movie topic/script. This is both the cheapest and most important part of any production and offers tremendous potential for value creation. We have put together a portfolio of 8 film topics, based on international bestsellers and biographies of world famous heroes of our times, each topic potentially attracting a large audience across continents. Furthermore, we have developed a proprietary and unique approach to creative development, focusing on excellent craftsmanship in dramatic and narrative structures, rooted in centuries of story telling. We will screen, test and select script writers and other creative professionals to develop our stories and closely monitor and supervise the entire process. In a first stage we will create scripts with production values (main cast, locations etc.).

For the creative development of this portfolio we look for investors who will, against the Intelectual Property of the portfolio as collateral, finance the creative development (EUR 3 Mio.). The investors will get payback through production budgets (IP-Acquistion and Producers Fee) and will additionally receive a substantial stake in the production company which will give participation in the revenue from the complete chain of release of all films, amounting to a multiple of the initial investment. This investment does not carry classic movie risks, as the investor has his money out when production starts, but participates in potential release revenues.
